SMS Policy

This SMS Policy (“SMS Policy”) governs the manner in which The Whym Group, Inc. (“Whym,” “we,” “our,” “us” and similar terms) collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (a “user,” as well as “you,” “your”, “shopper” and similar terms) of our phone numbers (“Our Numbers”), our websites: www.whymwallet.com and my.whymwallet.com, (the “Sites”), and our online store (the “Website”). We refer to all of the services and functionalities that we provide—including through our Website and Our Numbers—as our “Services.”  By entering your phone number as part of our Services or texting us at Our Numbers as a Whym Shopper, you are opting-in and agreeing to Whym’s Privacy Policy and Shopper Terms & Conditions and to receive SMS and email communication from Whym, even if (i) that number is listed on any federal, state or corporate do-not-call list, or (ii) we use autodialer or non-autodialer technology to send the messages. 

By providing your opt-in preferences for Merchant SMS communications as part of our Services, you are opting-in and agreeing to receive SMS communications from the Whym Merchant directly. Whym’s Merchants are required to adhere to our Seller Terms & Conditions. Whym will notify each Merchant of your opt-in preference specific to that Merchant. The Merchant is solely responsible for managing, maintaining and adhering to your opt-in preferences for SMS communications that you provide to Whym through the use of our Services.

SMS communications from Whym will be used for, among other things, account and order placement, account and order management, customer service and other important announcements, notifications and promotions.  SMS communications from a Whym Merchant are controlled solely by the Merchant, not by Whym, and Whym therefore does not make any claims to the use or purpose of any messages sent by a Whym Merchant.Whym will not charge you when you send a text message to Our Numbers or when we send a response from Our Numbers.  However, message and data rates may apply depending on the plan that you have with your carrier. U.S. carriers will send from Our Numbers. Whym does not control any charges you may incur as a result of sending or receiving a text message from a Whym Merchant.To opt-out of receiving text messages from Whym, sent by any of Our Numbers, text ‘STOP’ to that Number or reply ‘STOP’ to any of our messages from that Number.  If you do so, you will receive a confirmation message from Our Number and no further text messages will be sent to you from that Number unless you re-subscribe to our text messaging services associated with that Number.  To resume messages from any of Our Numbers, text ‘START’ to that Number.  For help, text ‘HELP’ to any of Our Numbers. To opt-out of receiving text messages from a Whym Merchant, you must contact that Merchant directly. Message frequency varies from any of Our Numbers. Whym does not control or manage the message frequency from any Whym Merchant.Messages to or from Our Numbers, sent by Whym, are supported on all major carriers including but not limited to AT&T, Boost Mobile, T-Mobile, Metro PCS, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Cricket, and Virgin Mobile.
